Usually a hub of activity on summer weekends, Croton Point Park, the 500-acre Westchester County park located on the banks of the Hudson River in Croton-on-Hudson, becomes a quieter place during the weekdays, offering tranquility to those seeking a mid-week respite.
Instead of festivals, concerts, and beachgoers that flock to the park on weekends, weekday visitors won’t hear much more than the sounds of birds and perhaps water lapping on the shores of the river.

The park includes a beach, soccer fields, a cricket pitch, playgrounds, trails for
hiking and bicycling, as well as campgrounds. A Westchester County park pass is not required for entry. Parking fees are $5 with a park pass and $10 without a pass.
