A second Habit Burger & Grill restaurant is set to open early next year in Stockton.
The new location is currently under construction at 7990 Holman Road in Stockton, near Lowe's and across the street from the Walmart Supercenter on East Hammer Lane. A sign on a fence states, "Habit Burger & Grill Drive Thru coming soon."

."We’re excited to be growing our presence in Stockton and look forward to welcoming the community to our second restaurant," a company spokesperson told The Record via email on Wednesday. "Guests can expect the fresh ingredients, as well as a variety of freshly chargrilled food and cooked-to-order favorites that Habit is known for."
Currently,
the only Habit Burger & Grill in Stockton is located at 2829 W. March Lane, STE C-1. Other restaurants in San Joaquin County are in Lodi, Manteca and Tracy.
The new location in north Stockton will be "company-owned," and it's expected to open early 2027, according to the company.
"The second Stockton restaurant is part of Habit’s continued growth and expansion, allowing us to bring our fresh, cooked-to-order food and California roots to more guests in the community," the company said.
What's on the menu?
Habit Burger & Grill will offer hungry stomachs options like a Charburger with cheese, a BBQ Bacon Char, sirloin steak, grilled cheese, Santa Barbara Cobb Salad, crispy chicken fries, fries, shakes and much more.
Families will also be able to order from their family charboxes including burgers, sides and sauces.
Habit Burger & Grill burgers are made with "100% fresh ground beef chargrilled over an open flame," according to the company's website.
Hiring at Habit Burger & Grill
Hiring for the new restaurant is expected to begin early next year, ahead of the opening, according to the company.
"We’re looking forward to becoming an ever bigger part of the Stockton community and giving guests plenty to choose from," the company said. "Along with our Charburgers, Habit serves freshly made sandwiches, crisp salads topped with hot, chargrilled chicken, and handspun shakes, all made fresh and cooked to order."
Habit Burger & Grill's Double Char ranked twice as the No. 1 burger by USA Today 10Best and the restaurant has also been recognized as the No. 1 Fast Casual Restaurant by USA Today 10Best, the company stated.
