Lathrop's Sam's Club celebrated its fuel station grand opening on Friday.
The new members only fuel station opened on Friday, Sept. 4, at 16174 Golden Valley Parkway in Lathrop ahead of its warehouse retail store grand opening this fall.
"We’re excited to open our new members-only fuel station in Lathrop, giving members their first opportunity to experience the new location ahead of the full club opening this fall," Ann Perry, club manager at Lathrop Sam’s Club, said in an email. "With competitive fuel prices and strong value at the pump, it’s another way we’re delivering the value and convenience our members expect. We’re thrilled to be part of the Lathrop community."
The new fuel station offers club members "competitive fuel prices and strong
value," the company said.
"As part of the events, Sam’s Club is offering savings on new memberships. New members can take advantage of a limited-time membership offer. Those who join through Sept. 30 can receive a year-long Sam’s Club Plus membership for $50 (a $70 savings) or a year-long Club membership for $20 (a $40 savings)," Sam's Club said in a news release. "Additionally, members who open a Sam’s Club credit card account Sept. 1–Sept. 30, 2026, will receive a $30 statement credit and earn 10% back on fuel purchases made with their new account for 30 days from the date the account was opened."
The new Sam's Club fuel station is open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and closed on Monday's, according to the company's website.
