After minicamp, weeks of training camp and a trip to New Orleans, the Jacksonville Jaguars are ready for their first game in front of the home crowd in the 2026 preseason.
The Jaguars kick off against the
Carolina Panthers at EverBank Stadium in rare Friday night NFL football, at 7 p.m. Aug. 21. This game opens the last season at the Bank, which will have reduced capacity this year, before its scheduled reopening as the Stadium of the Future in 2028.
Unlike the Aug. 15 game against the New Orleans Saints, when head coach Liam Coen elected to rest the Jaguars' first-stringers, starters like quarterback Trevor Lawrence could see at least some action against Carolina. Their status wasn't yet certain as of Friday morning.
