Fleming Island swimmer Noah Stotler is the new Florida Times-Union Boys Athlete of the Week for Northeast Florida high school sports for the 2026-27 season, covering the week of Sept. 14-19 in the Jacksonville area.
The junior won two events at the Frank Holleman Invitational swim meet in Ponte Vedra, the 200-yard freestyle (1:37.71) and 100 butterfly (48.21).
He placed first in a vote of top Northeast Florida performers that included Chenaniah Doran (Raines football), Rohmoy Francis (Stanton football), Ben Goodman (Bolles diving), Matthew Ishee (Nease cross-country), Jaspreet Kondal (Beachside golf) and Caleb Smith (Bartram Trail cross-country).

The Times-Union gathers nominees from scores, stats and nominations e-mailed to the sports desk during the week by coaches across Northeast Florida. Coaches can e-mail these stats and scores to preps@jacksonville.com. Deadline to receive nominations is 7 p.m. Saturdays.
This week's voting begins Monday morning and closes at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 1. Votes are restricted to once per device per hour. Vote at jacksonville.com/sports.

DJ Alderman, Hilliard football
The senior rushed for 286 yards and four touchdowns in a 49-8 win against Scintilla Charter.
Jaxon Flowers, Bolles football
The junior picked off three passes, including a pick-six, and blocked a punt in the Bulldogs' 58-10 win over Baldwin.
Charlie Hipp, Creekside golf
The senior earned medalist honors and the team championship with a 35 at the TPC Valley Shootout.
Jasper Jackson, Fletcher diving
The junior scored 268.15 points to win a dual meet against Mandarin.
JP Strombeck, Fleming Island cross-country
The senior won the individual title at the Bale-N-Trail Original, running 15:47.9.
Jackson Swed, Paxon swimming
The junior won the 100 fly and 100 breast in a dual meet against Stanton.
Jacoby Walker, University Christian football
The sophomore took the opening kickoff to the end zone and added a receiving touchdown in a 55-8 win against Impact Christian.
