It's time for Cam Little to have a nickname.
The Jacksonville Jaguars' third-year kicker has the NFL record for the longest field goal in NFL history (68 yards on Nov. 2, 2025, against Las Vegas), the longest in an outdoor stadium (67 yards on Jan. 4, 2026, at home against Tennessee) and the longest in a preseason game (70 yards on Aug. 9, 2025, against Pittsburgh).
When Little slammed home a 57-yarder on Oct. 11 to beat Philadelphia 19-17 on the final play of the game, it was his sixth lead-changing field goal in six attempts in his NFL career.
Little already holds the Jaguars record for points in one season with 140 last year, most field goals of 50 or more yards in one season with eight in 2025 and was the youngest NFL kicker at 22 years old to
make 50 career field goals.
When Little was in college, he was a perfect 129-for-129 on extra points for Arkansas, so the fact he missed an extra point Oct. 11 in London was almost like seeing Sasquatch. He's 89-for-91 in three NFL seasons, missing his first PAT in 2025.
Little is quickly developing the type of following a kicker rarely gets to enjoy.
So isn't this the perfect time to tag Little with a cool nickname? Here are some possibilities, thanks to fans on social media and other media suggestions (such as Leon Searcy on 1010-XL, for the first choice).
