Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence broke free from multiple defenders at the 13-yard line before slowing down to take a knee at the one-yard line.
The only issue? While Jacksonville was up 28-6 on the New England Patriots, there was still around eight minutes remaining in the game. New England called a timeout shortly thereafter, and Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten took the ball in from one yard out to put the team up 35-6.
"I think he just wanted to give a touchdown to somebody else," Jaguars head coach Liam Coen said after the game on Sunday.
Lawrence joined in on the fun in his postgame interview with CBS Sports.

Tuten fantasy people out there," Lawrence said with a laugh.
Lawrence provided a longer explanation to local media. He explained that the team practices those situations to keep the clock running and win the game. Typically, they do that with about four or fewer minutes on the clock.
"That was too much time. I looked at the clock afterward; I'm like, 'oh, eight minutes left.' So, it was probably unnecessary there, but just trying to use as much clock as possible," said Lawrence.
"Try to give them as few chances to get back in the game. But if you do the analytics, I'm sure people will probably be all over it online I'm sure. Probably wasn't the best decision, but we scored on the next play."
The Jaguars had an excellent day in all three phases, and only a few plays stood out as less favorable. Overall, Lawrence's day was excellent, aside from one interception.
Lawrence finished the game completing 19 of 29 passes for 182 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. The win improves Jacksonville to 2-1 on the season as they get set to play the Cincinnati Bengals next week.
