The Times-Union releases its Week 7 Power Rankings for high school girls volleyball across Jacksonville and Northeast Florida during the 2026 season.

Beachside, which is in contention to reach the inaugural Open Division, remains at the top. Teams' current records and districts are included.

1. Beachside (19-3, District 2-6A)

Previous: 1.

Last week: Won 3-0 vs. Tocoi Creek, won 2-0 vs. Georgetown Day, won 2-0 vs. St. Thomas Aquinas, lost 2-1 vs. King's Academy, lost 2-1 vs. Orangewood Christian, won 2-0 vs. Carrollwood Day.

This week: Sept. 29 vs. Creekside, Oct. 1 at Ponte Vedra.

Notable: Barracudas took on some of Florida's best at Sunshine State Invitational in Oviedo.

2. Fleming Island (11-2, District 4-4A)

Previous: 2.

Last week: Won 3-1 vs. Middleburg, won 3-1 vs. Wolfson.

This week: Sept. 29 at Alachua Santa Fe, Oct. 1 vs. Clay.

Notable: Lillie Eason now owns the Golden Eagles' all-time kills record, with a year and a half to spare.

3. Ponte Vedra (7-2, District 4-5A)

Last week: Won 3-0 at Trinity Christian, won 3-0 vs. New Smyrna Beach.

This week: Sept. 28 vs. Tallahassee Lincoln, Sept. 29 at Bishop Kenny, Oct. 1 vs. Beachside, Oct. 2-3 at JJVA Tournament.

Notable: Sharks played some of their best volleyball of the year in sweeps of Trinity and New Smyrna.

4. Trinity Christian (12-5, District 2-2A)

Previous: 3.

Last week: Won 3-0 at Christ's Church, lost 3-0 vs. Ponte Vedra.

This week: Sept. 28 at Bolles, Sept. 29 vs. Oakleaf.

Notable: Nova Hewlett blasted 18 kills against Christ's Church.

5. Middleburg (10-7, District 3-5A)

Last week: Lost 3-1 at Fleming Island, won 3-0 at Tallahassee Chiles.

This week: Sept. 29 vs. Tocoi Creek.

Notable: Middleburg now owns a rare season sweep of Chiles.
