The last couple of "Love Island USA" Season 7 finale has officially called it quits.
Floridian Nic Vansteenberghe announced on social media that he and fellow islander Olandria Carthen have ended their
relationship after dating for over a year.
The Jacksonville-native took to his subscribers-only TikTok page on July 26 to confirm the news. This came after numerous reports over the weekend that the reality TV couple were going their separate ways.
"The rumors are true. I didn't want to give people false hope, so I want to clear the air," he wrote, per a screenshot shared on X. "We will continue to love each other ALWAYS. It's a sensitive, as well as a private subject, thank you for respecting our privacy."

The news also comes after Carthen defended their relationship in a June cover story on Cosmopolitan, saying they were keeping their relationship more private and had been spending time together despite their busy work commitments.
"We don't monetize our relationship or put it on display. If you genuinely like spending quality time with somebody, it shouldn't involve a camera every two seconds," the model told the outlet. She has not addressed the breakup publicly, as of July 28.
