Players Championship tickets on sale for PGA Tour's marquee tournament

The Players Championship is launching ticket sales for the 2027 tournament earlier than in the past.

How much earlier? Try more than a month, based on previous years.

Tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. on Sept. 24 for the Players, March 9-14 at the TPC Sawgrass Players Stadium Course. Cameron Young will be the defending champion

of the PGA Tour's marquee event, with NBC/Golf Channel providing more than 20 hours of live coverage.

Players Championship executive director Lee Smith said that early sellouts of tickets and parking passes last year prompted to the tournament to move the first day of ticket sales more than a month from its typical early November date.

“Three tournament days sold out in 2026, and we expect that momentum to continue,” Smith

said in a statement. “We’re incredibly proud of how this event has grown, and that growth is a direct reflection of the passion and support of our fans and our community. With demand continuing to grow, we encourage fans to purchase early and secure their spot at TPC Sawgrass in 2027."

Players tickets will be dynamically priced based on demand, and with Friday, Saturday and Sunday having sold out in 2026, fans planning to attend those days in 2027 are encouraged to purchase now for the best availability and rates.

During a presale earlier this month, the allotment of Friday and Saturday parking sold out. About half of the spaces remain, with limited inventory for peak days.

What are the Players ticket options?

Stadium Pass: A grounds ticket allows fans admission to public venues and rope-line views of the top players in the world competing for the richest purse for a regular-season FedEx Cup event.

The opening prices for Tickets are $55 for Tuesday, March 9 (including the concert at the 17th hole's Island Green); $45 for Wednesday, March 10; $100 for the first round on March 11; $120 for the second round on March 12; $135 for the third round on March 13; and $105 for the final round on March 14. Prices will change based on demand.

Intracoastal Club: Located between the 12th and 13th holes, the club provides views of the short par-4 and par-3 holes, with an open-air venue featuring bar-style seating, televisions and upscale food and beverage options for purchase, including beer, wine and the tournament’s signature cocktails. Access to the Intracoastal Club requires a separate ticket, available while supplies last.

Intracoastal Club tickets start at $225 for the two practice round days (March 9-10), are $275 for the first round on March 11 and the final round on March 14; and $295 for the second round on March 12 and the third round on March 13.

Youth Tickets: The Players offers free tickets for up to two youth 15 and under accompanied by a ticketed adult. Children 6 and over will still require a ticket to access hospitality venues.

Military and Veteran Tickets: The Players will continue to offer special ticket packages for active-duty military and veterans. Details and the first day those tickets are available for distribution will be announced at a later date. The tournament will hold its annual Military Appreciation Day and Ceremony on March 9, with a concert at the 17th green. The musical act has yet to be announced.

Parking passes start at $20 for practice round days, $50 for the first and fourth rounds and $60 for the second and third rounds. Parking passes also will be dynamically priced.
