The steamy pattern isn't going anywhere, with more dangerous heat expected through at least midweek. The good news? The tropics remain quiet, with no tropical development expected this week.

- Tuesday: Mostly sunny and hot, becoming partly cloudy at night. High: 99 degrees. Low: 80 degrees. Heat index: Up to 107 degrees. Rain chance: 10 % late in the afternoon; no significant rain expected overnight.
- Wednesday: Mostly sunny and hot with showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon and continuing through the night. Some storms could produce heavy rainfall. High: 97 degrees. Low: 76 degrees. Rain chances: 60 % during both the day and night.
- Thursday: Partly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, tapering off during the evening. High: 94 degrees. Low: 75 degrees. Rain chances: 50% during the day and 30% at night.
- Friday: Mostly sunny with scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms, with a chance of lingering showers at night. High: 94 degrees. Low:75 degrees. Rain chances: 40% during the day and 30% at night.
