There are a lot of Pink Floyd tribute acts out there, but one coming to St. Augustine early next year was created by Floyd founder Roger Waters himself.
Roger Waters Presents LEGACY — A Pink Floyd Show is coming to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on Saturday, Feb. 20. Tickets for the concert are $49-$105 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, through theamp.com.
Waters will not perform at the show. His son, Harry Waters, who has played alongside his father for 15 years, will lead the 10-piece band and play piano and organ. The show will focus on Pink Floyd's music from 1971-79, an era that included "Dark Side of the Moon," "Wish You Were Here," "Animals" and "The Wall," the biggest albums of the band's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame career.
Imagery
created by Roger Waters during that era will be shown on high-definition video screens behind the band. The show is expected to last about two hours.
