2. Mandarin (2-0, District 2-5A)

Outlook: Mustangs can make an early statement in the deep District 2-5A race with victory on the new turf of always-dangerous Nease.
3. St. Augustine (3-0, District 4-4A)

Outlook: New Jackets are stepping up on offense to complement QB Cash Downey.

Outlook: Tigers enter as favorites but can't afford to underestimate Ribault, which is making its best start since 2011.

Outlook: Bulldogs face off against longtime rival BK ahead of district action.

Outlook: Tornadoes' points for: 137. Points against: 9.

Outlook: Turnovers, missed red-zone chances cost Commanders a real chance at a milestone victory against Raines.
8. Trinity Christian (2-1, District 5-1A)

Last week: Won 48-28 at Tallahassee Lincoln, 7 p.m.
This week: Sept. 11 vs. Plantation American Heritage, 7 p.m.
Outlook: Make no mistake: Even at 1-2, American Heritage -- whose losses came to West Boca and Chaminade-Madonna -- is a daunting opponent.

Outlook: UC raced to its highest-scoring night since 2021.
