How to save money on Jacksonville Fair tickets? See Early bird dates and rates
One of the easiest ways to save is to buy Early Bird tickets before the fair opens.
Early Bird tickets are available through 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 4. After that deadline, regular prices apply.
Advance general admission prices are:
- Adults: $10 in advance; $15 after Nov. 4
- Children ages 6-12: $5 in advance; $10 after Nov. 4
- Seniors 65+: $5 in advance; $10 after Nov. 4
Advance admission is good for one day of the fair but does not include mechanical rides.
Organizers also list Walgreens as another way to save on admission, making it worth checking participating locations and current promotions before paying full price at the gate.
What does the $25 Jacksonville Fair Mega Pass include?
For visitors planning to spend the day riding attractions, the JaxFair Mega Pass offers considerably more than standard admission.
The Mega Pass includes:
- General admission to the fair
- Unlimited mechanical rides
- Free grounds entertainment
- Access to the 904 Soundstage
- Duval Hall Stage
- Duval Hall Expo
- Food vendors
- Marketplace
- Eating competitions
- Access to the fair's brand-new state-of-the-art barn and its animals
The $25 Mega Pass is available as an Early Bird deal through Nov. 4 at 11:59 p.m. After that, it goes to the regular price.
For families or fairgoers who expect to ride multiple attractions, the Mega Pass could be one of the better-value ticket options.
What can you do at the Jacksonville Fair?
The new fairgrounds are designed to make the 2026 event bigger than previous years, with a mix of classic fair attractions and new entertainment options.
Expect plenty of carnival rides, fair food, live entertainment, shopping and family activities, along with eating competitions and the new barn experience.
The fair's entertainment lineup also extends beyond the grounds with performances at the JAX Amphitheater, giving this year's event an added concert component.
Are JAX Amphitheater concerts included with Jacksonville Fair tickets?
No. JaxFair General Admission tickets and the $25 Mega Pass do not include tickets to the 2026 JaxFair Main Stage concerts at the JAX Amphitheater.
However, there is a major perk for concertgoers: JAX Amphitheater concert tickets do include admission to the fair.
That means visitors with a concert ticket can enjoy the fair before heading over for the big show without purchasing a separate fair admission ticket.

What makes the 2026 Jacksonville Fair different from previous years?
The biggest change is the location.
After 70 years of Jacksonville Fair history, the 2026 event opens a new chapter with its move to an 82-plus-acre Westside site next to the Jacksonville Equestrian Center.
More space means organizers can pack in more rides, food, entertainment, vendors and attractions, making the 71st Jacksonville Fair one of the most ambitious editions yet.
And for anyone hoping to make the most of the experience without spending a fortune, buying an Early Bird ticket before Nov. 4 could be the key to getting the best deal.
