Ahead of their matchup against the Houston Texans, the Jacksonville Jaguars have announced a couple of practice squad elevations.
Jacksonville will have long snapper Jacob Bobenmoyer active in London after Ross Matiscik, the team's typical LS, injured his shoulder early in the win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
In addition to Bobenmoyer, the Jaguars will elevate cornerback Jabbar Muhammed. Muhammed was signed to the team's practice squad in 2025.
Bobenmoyer was quickly flown to London and signed to the team's practice squad. It's unclear how many weeks Matiscik will miss, but he was ruled out ahead of this week's matchup. Bobenmoyer replaced safety Kaevon Merriweather
on the practice squad after the veteran defensive back was signed to the team's active roster.
Jacksonville will be without starting corner Montaric Brown for a second time this season. Brown returned from a hamstring injury against Philadelphia, but played just six snaps before leaving the game. Brown also missed the team's Week 4 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Jaguars are looking to complete a London sweep after playing Philly at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last week. They're playing the Texans at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
The game will begin at 9:30 a.m. Afterward, the Jaguars will return to Jacksonville for their Week 7 bye. The team will play the Indianapolis Colts at EverBank Stadium in Week 8.
