Outlook: The Sporting Jax women (3-2-1) are attempting to avoid their first-ever three-game losing streak when they face league-leading Carolina. … The Ascent (5-1-0) beat Sporting Jax in the regular-season finale in 2025-26 and also knocked them out of the playoffs in May. … Sporting Jax central defender Georgia Brown has been called up to Scotland's national team for FIFA Women's World Cup playoff games against the Czech Republic on Oct. 9 and Oct. 13. If Scotland advances, they would meet Sweden or Lithuania in the final qualifying stage in November and December. … Carolina goalkeeper
Sydney Martinez, a Savannah-area native who played youth soccer with the Jacksonville Armada ECNL program, became only the second goalkeeper in the Gainbridge Super League's brief history to reach 15 shutouts. … Sporting Jax's Baylee DeSmit leads the league with five goals.
