The Jacksonville Jaguars announced several injury updates ahead of their joint practice with the Carolina Panthers on Aug. 19.
Wide receiver Parker Washington is out with an undisclosed injury, but he's day-to-day and expected back before the end of training camp. Offensive lineman Wyatt Milum will also be out for the remainder of the week and is expected back next week.
Running back LeQuint Allen has a soft tissue injury and will miss the remainder of training camp. Jourdan Lewis has a soft tissue injury, but is progressing well.
Jack Kiser was injured on the first day of training camp and has not returned to the field since. He's sported a knee brace while
off to the side as the team practices.
Chuma Edoga is expected back prior to the end of training camp after suffering an injury in the first preseason game against the New Orleans Saints. Cole Van Lanen remains on the Physically Unable to Participate list as he recovers from a season-ending injury.
The team put rookie line backer Parker Hughes on the injured reserve list on Aug. 17, ending his season. This is on top of the report that Patrick Mekari had back surgery, which was confirmed by the Jaguars. They have not made a decision on if he'll be placed on the injured reserve list yet.
The team has two more weeks in preseason with several decisions to make prior to cut down day on Aug. 30.
