Who's on top? Jacksonville high school volleyball Power Ranking

The Florida High School Athletic Association volleyball regular season enters its second half.

The Times-Union releases its Week 6 Power Rankings for high school girls volleyball across Jacksonville and Northeast Florida during the 2026 season.

Beachside, which won its first 15 matches before a loss to independent IMG Academy at the Battle at the Beach in Venice, remains at the top. Teams' current records and districts are included.

1. Beachside (15-1, District 2-6A)

Previous: 1.

Last week: Won 3-0 at Bartram Trail, won 3-0 vs. Ponte Vedra, won 2-0 vs. Palm Harbor University, won 2-1 vs. Weeki Wachee, won 2-1 vs. Westminster Christian, won 2-0 vs. Gulliver Prep, lost 2-0 vs. IMG Academy.

This week: Sept. 22 vs. Tocoi Creek, Sept. 25-26 at Sunshine State Invitational.

Notable: A trip

to Oviedo is up next for Barracudas.

2. Fleming Island (7-2, District 4-4A)

Previous: 3.

Last week: Won 3-2 vs. Bartram Trail, won 3-0 at Trinity Christian.

This week: Sept. 22 vs. Middleburg, Sept. 24 vs. Wolfson.

Notable: The Lauren Brosky/Kaylee Clark/Lillie Eason attack combination is tough to contain.

3. Trinity Christian (11-4, District 2-2A)

Previous: 2.

Last week: Won 3-1 vs. Episcopal, lost 3-0 vs. Fleming Island.

This week: Sept. 21 at Christ's Church, Sept. 22 vs. Ponte Vedra.

Notable: Trinity stands 10th in Class 2A statewide.

4. Middleburg (9-6, District 3-5A)

Previous: Not ranked.

Last week: Won 3-1 vs. Bishop Kenny, won 3-1 at Wolfson, lost 2-0 vs. Ocala Forest, lost 2-1 vs. Seacrest Country Day, lost 2-0 vs. IMG Academy, won 2-1 vs. Bishop Kenny, won 2-0 vs. Canterbury.

This week: Sept. 22 at Fleming Island, Sept. 24 at Tallahassee Chiles.

Notable: Broncos' Clay County clash against Fleming Island should be huge.

5. Ponte Vedra (5-2, District 4-5A)

Previous: 5.

Last week: Won 3-0 vs. Bolles, lost 3-0 at Beachside.

This week: Sept. 22 at Trinity Christian, Sept. 24 vs. New Smyrna Beach.

Notable: Sharks earned a quality win against Bolles.

Dropped out: Bolles (9-4, District 3-3A).

On the bubble: Episcopal (8-4, District 3-3A), Fletcher (8-7, District 4-5A), Tocoi Creek (9-6, District 2-6A), Wolfson (9-4, District 4-3A), Yulee (11-3, District 3-4A).
