Bolles defensive end Asher Ghioto was named to the USA TODAY Sports All-America first-team defense and Mandarin wide receiver Brysen Wright made the second-team offense in the annual preseason list.
Both Ghioto and Wright are juniors ranked among the nation's top five recruits overall for the 2028 class.
The 6-5, 240-pound Ghioto recorded 84 tackles, 35 of them behind the line of scrimmage, and 23 sacks while helping the Bulldogs to the Florida High School Athletic Association Class 2A final. He is now up to 150 tackles and 30 sacks through two years of high school football.
Wright, at 6-3 1/2 and 215 pounds, scored five return touchdowns in 2025 in addition to his 46 receptions for 983 yards and 10 touchdowns during his sophomore year. Wright was
also recognized as NFL Flag Player of the Year during an award ceremony in California leading up to the Super Bowl.
Both players hold five-star national recruiting rankings and are being pursued by numerous power-conference college football programs around the United States.
Last week, Ghioto and Wright were selected to the ALL-USA preseason Southeast Region list.
