Jacksonville, the wait is almost over.
The Blue Angels are set to soar over Jacksonville this fall as part of NAS Jax Air Show on Oct. 17 and 18. After a year away from the local skies, fans will have two days to catch the U.S. Navy’s famed demonstration team in action.
The return comes after a disappointing year for local air show fans. A year ago, the Blue Angels had been scheduled to fly at Jacksonville Beach’s Sea & Sky Air Show, but their performance was canceled amid the 2025 federal government shutdown and related funding issues.
This year, though, they're back, and there’s plenty more to look forward to. The NAS Jax Air Show lineup features 10 additional performers, including the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and GO EZ Aerobatics. Pilot Kyle
Fowler will fly the unconventional, homebuilt Rutan Long-EZ aircraft through a series of thrilling aerobatic maneuvers.

The Blue Angels will fly at the 2026 NAS Jax Air Showon October 17-18, 2026. Both admission and parking for the event are free.

Gates open at 9 a.m.; the show begins at 11 a.m.; and the Blue Angels perform at 3 p.m. at NAS Jacksonville, located at 6801 Roosevelt Blvd.

Will the Blue Angels have a practice show in Jacksonville? When?
Yes! The Blue Angels will take to the skies for a practice show on Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, ahead of the weekend's air show.
The practice show is open to those with base access, their guests and local schoolchildren. Gates open at 9 a.m., and the show starts at 11 a.m., with the same lineup of performers scheduled for the main show days.
