The Jacksonville Humane Society has reduced dog and cat adoption fees to $25 through Sunday, Sept. 20, to celebrate school Homecoming Week. About 100 dogs and cats of different ages, sizes and personalities are available; each one will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and vaccinated upon adoption. A county licensing fee may apply.
