The Jacksonville Jaguars welcome an old friend back to EverBank Stadium tonight when they take on Devin Lloyd and the Carolina Panthers in their second preseason game of the 2026 season.
Don't expect Lloyd, an All-Pro last season who had nine interceptions at linebacker over four seasons in Jacksonville, to make life miserable for former teammate Trevor Lawrence. While Lloyd and Jaelan Phillips both played in last week's game, Jaguars coach Liam Coen has made a habit of resting his starters during the preseason. Nick Mullens started the preseason opener vs. the New Orleans Saints, while Carter Bradley played most of the snaps.
Who will fans get to see tonight? Travis Hunter could see his first live action since tearing a knee ligament in October.
Fans are eager to see Bhayshul Tuten debut as the lead running back. The banged-up offensive line might finally be getting some relief with the trade for Daniel Faalele, the signing of Timothy McKay and Cole Van Lanen returning to practice.
