Bolles golfer Chloe McGrath is the new Florida Times-Union Girls Athlete of the Week for Northeast Florida high school sports for the 2026-27 season, covering the week of Sept. 21-26 in the Jacksonville area.
The senior shot a 36 at San Jose Country Club, earning the individual and team victories in a tri-match against Bishop Kenny and St. Johns Country Day.
A co-medalist in the district and regional tournaments a year ago, she has committed to play collegiate golf at William & Mary.
She placed first in a vote of top Northeast Florida performers that included Sabrina Avila (Stanton swimming), Trezher Clemons (First Coast volleyball), Eva Delaney (Creekside cross-country), Mia Rivera (Keystone Heights volleyball) and Juliette
Watson (Fletcher volleyball).

This week's Girls Athlete of the Week vote
It's time to vote for Florida Times-Union's Girls High School Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 28-Oct. 3.
The Times-Union gathers nominees from scores, stats and nominations e-mailed to the sports desk during the week by coaches across Northeast Florida. Coaches can e-mail these stats and scores to preps@jacksonville.com. Deadline to receive nominations is 7 p.m. Saturdays.
This week's voting begins Monday morning and closes at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8. Votes are restricted to once per device per hour. Vote at jacksonville.com/sports.

Makenna Biernacki, Ponte Vedra swimming
The junior won the 100-yard freestyle and backstroke in a tri-meet against Bartram Trail and Cornerstone Classical.
Lillie Eason, Fleming Island volleyball
The sophomore won MVP honors as the Golden Eagles went 5-0 at the JJVA Spike Awareness Classic.
Harper Hadden, Christ's Church volleyball
The junior tallied 43 kills and 29 digs in victories over Baker County, Beaches Chapel and Episcopal.
Braelyn Isbell, Middleburg golf
The senior shot 35 to lead the Broncos past Bishop Kenny in a dual match at Deercreek.
Rylie Lynch, Paxon swimming
The senior won the 200 and 500-yard freestyle in a tri-meet against Atlantic Coast and West Nassau.
Kate Staten, St. Johns Country Day cross-country
The sophomore ran 20:38 to win the individual and team championships at the Indian Invite in Melrose.
Isabella Taveras Seda, Beachside volleyball
The senior recorded 35 digs in the Barracudas' wins over Creekside and Ponte Vedra.
Gianna Vasto, Bolles diving
The junior won the Florida Swimming Pool Association meet with 477.15 points.
