A little more than 11 months ago, the Jacksonville Jaguars got embarrassed by Houston Texans backup quarterback Davis Mills and an overpowering defense in a 36-29 loss on the road. First-year head coach Liam Coen's squad responded by winning their final eight games to win the AFC South.
The two division rivals meet again today in London, where the 4-1 Jags are riding high off an inconceivable 19-17 win in which they trailed with 8 seconds left against the Philadelphia Eagles. Parker Washington had 124 yards with two touchdowns; the Penn State product had a receiving and a punt-return touchdown in that Houston game last year as he began his ascent to the top option in Trevor Lawrence's offensive arsenal.
The 1-4 Texans come in desperate for a win
if they want to stay in the playoff race. After finally getting into the win column last week, they addressed their injury-riddled receiver room by trading for Marvin Harrison Jr., who has struggled to live up to his No. 4 overall draft position with the Arizona Cardinals. He'll look to complement Nico Collins as C.J. Stroud continues to state his case to remain the franchise QB: The 2023 Rookie of the Year has thrown for 1,402 yards and six TDs without an interception.

Jaguars vs Texans predictions, picks for NFL Week 6
Demetrius Harvey, Florida Times-Union
Texans 24, Jaguars 17: "The team has struggled to protect Trevor Lawrence at times already this season and I don't see why that would get better without left tackle Anton Harrison against Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter."
Bill Bender, Sporting News
Texans 22, Jaguars 19: "CJ Stroud is 3-2 as a starter against Jacksonville. The Jaguars are 2-1 in one-score games, and Trevor Lawrence has a chance to take command of the AFC South. Can the Texans generate enough of a running game to pull off the upset?"
Pete Prisco, CBS Sports
Jaguars 24, Texans 20: "Houston won for the first time on the road last week and now their division chances probably rest on this game. The Jaguars were sloppy last week, which will get them back focused. Jaguars will win a tight one."
Adam Kaufman, USA TODAY
Texans 23, Jaguars 20: "The Texans' pass-rush has a chance to make Trevor Lawrence uncomfortable and keep this close. Give me Houston to make the AFC South race a little more interesting with an outright upset."
