Jacksonville Jaguars WR/CB Travis Hunter had another typical training camp day in terms of his split between offense and defense on Aug. 11 at the Miller Electric Center, during 11-on-11 team periods.
He had more defensive snaps, which has been the case in every practice except one, where he split 9-9 in snaps on either side of the ball on Day 3, including a 7-on-7 period.
Hunter had his first camp day with more than one reception, grabbing two, both from Trevor Lawrence. The first was on a short pattern in the flat and the other was down the left sideline, beating Montaric Brown.
He also was open down the sideline on another play but Lawrence didn't see him and scrambled to the other side.
Hunter made one good defensive play in run support, shedding
a block by tight end Hunter Long but also got beat deep by Parker Washington on a pass from Lawrence down the left sideline.
But hey, who hasn't been beaten deep by Washington in camp this summer?

Hunter had eight defensive snaps and six offensive snaps, his lightest workday since Day 2 of camp when he had four offense and eight defense.

For the season, Hunter has 60 snaps on offense and 98 on defense in 11-on-11 team periods and the mock game (and not counting a walk-through on Aug. 8). He's averaging 15.8 plays per practice in those periods, 6.0 on offense and 9.8 on defense.
