Double for Mangione: Midfielder Peter Mangione timed two attacking runs perfectly to put away goals in the eighth and 27th minutes for Brooklyn (4-12-4), and Markus Anderson added another goal in the 35th.
Sadlier scores off bench: Sporting Jax (2-15-5) averted a shutout when Kieran Sadlier, 16 minutes after entering off the bench, struck a deflected goal in the 71st minute.
Quick free kicks: Sporting Jax missed an opportunity to escape the Eastern Conference cellar and now stands five points behind Brooklyn.
