Florida high school football Super 10 rankings: Columbia leads Class 4A

Class 4A has been the most volatile in the rankings this fall, and that isn't changing heading into Week 6.

Undefeated Columbia is the new No. 1 in Class 4A in the USA Today Florida Network Super 10 rankings. The Tigers received all 15 first-place votes.

Columbia rallied to beat Trinity Christian on the road in Week 5, while previous No. 1 American Heritage fell to Lakeland.

The Tigers, which also have wins against Bolles and Madison County, are the third team to hold the top spot in Class 4A this season.

St. Thomas Aquinas (Class 5A), Chaminade-Madonna (Class 2A) and Carrollwood Day (Class 1A) are unanimous No. 1 selections in their classes. Aquinas remains the No. 1 team in the state and national USA Today Super 25.

Columbus stays at No. 1 in

Class 6A, picking up 14 first-place votes. No. 2 Venice received the other first-place vote.

Miami Central got 13 first-place votes to remain No. 1 in Class 3A. Raines, which dominated Mandarin in a highly anticipated Week 5 game, picked up the other two first-place votes.
