The Jacksonville Humane Society
will have a four-day adoption event, The London Tailgate, from Oct. 10 to 13 in conjunction with the Jaguars Sunday game overseas. Adoption fees will be waived for all dogs and cats; other fees, including one for county licensing, may also apply. All pets available for adoption are spayed or neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
The event is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, and Sunday, Oct. 11, and noon to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, and Tuesday, Oct. 13. Available pets can be viewed at jaxhumane.org/adopt. The society is at 8464 Beach Blvd.

Callie is a 1½-year-old, 10-pound female domestic medium-hair cat (ID No. A1478353). She is clever and full of life. Her ideal day is spent climbing shelves, hiding in boxes, chasing feather toys and snuggling with her people. She has lived with other cats and a small dog.
