Jacksonville Sheriff's Office T.K. Waters recently took Jacksonville Jaguars star Travis Hunter on a ride along and documented the whole adventure, according to an Aug. 21 Facebook post.
According to the post, the pair became "fast friends" in 2025 after Hunter was drafted, and the 2024 Heisman Trophy winner has expressed interest in law enforcement.
"Sheriff Waters recently showed Hunter parts of Jacksonville he had never seen before, and the pair responded to some calls," the caption read.
The video shared was a quick minute and a half snippet of their patrol together.
"In this clip from their ride-along, they arrived after some of our officers found drugs a suspect was hiding during a traffic stop."

Jacksonville Fire Rescue also ran into Jaguars' Travis Hunter on scene
"Our
crews never know what the next call will bring," Jacksonville Fire Rescue wrote in a July 29 Facebook post. "Last week, Engine 36 B-Shift responded to a call and found Sheriff T.K. Waters, members of JSO, and Jaguars star Travis Hunter already on scene."
The agency shared a photo of the encounter in the post, with Hunter smiling wide and sporting a police vest. "After the incident was under control, the crew had a chance to welcome Sheriff Waters and Travis to their territory and snap a quick photo."

Hunter was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars as the second-overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
