Jacksonville Jaguars kickoff returner Ameer Abdullah, one of the heroes of last week's 19-17 victory over Philadelphia, took a hard hit and suffered an apparent injury on Oct. 18 in the first quarter of the Jags game vs. Houston at London's Wembley Stadium.
The team later announced he was cleared to return.

Abdullah was returning the kickoff after Houston took a 7-0 lead on C.J. Stroud's 6-yard TD pass to Foster Moreau and broke it 29 yards to the Jacksonville 36. He was hit hard by the Texans' Wade Woodaz, and sent flying to the ground. Abdullah was slow to get up and left under his own power but was taken to the sideline tent and the team announced that he was being evaluated
for a concussion.
Abdullah's 53-yard kickoff return last week set up the game-winning 57-yard field goal by Cam Little. Abdullah returned the first two kickoffs of the game against the Texans, who seemed to be making an effort to avoid rookie Josh Cameron ― who returned the opening kickoff of the game against the Eagles for a 90-yard touchdown, only to have the play nullified by offsetting penalties, a hold on the Jaguars and illegal formation against the Eagles.
