The PGA Tourannounced the hiring of three members of its senior leadership team on Sept. 15: Tyler Rutstein as Chief Marketing Officer, Mike Mahar as Chief Technology Officer and John Fizer as Senior Vice President, Investor Relations.
The new hires, according to the PGA Tour release, " bring extensive experience spanning sports, entertainment, hospitality, technology, finance and consumer brands."
They will report to PGA Tour Enterprise Operations President Andy Weitz, President, Enterprise Operations, who oversees Marketing, PGA Tour Studios, Technology, Investor Relations and Board Administration.

Rutstein most recently served as Under Armour's Senior Vice-President of Global Brand & Americas Marketing and previously was the Chief Brand Officer and VP of Commerce at Overtime. He also spent a decade at Adidas, where he led global and U.S. marketing, merchandising and collaboration strategies tied to major franchises, cultural moments and key city growth initiatives.
Mahar has more than two decades of information technology leadership experience, most recently at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. As the Tour's Chief Technology Officer, he is charged with shaping the PGA Tour’s next chapter of digital, data and AI-driven fan engagement.
Fizer has been involved in private wealth management, investment advisory, legal training and competitive golf. He has been the Chief Investment Officer of Mill Hill, an independent advisory practice he started, and also was Executive Director at JPMorgan Private Bank and a Private Wealth Advisor at Goldman Sachs.
Rutstein and Mahar will begin at the Tour on Oct. 5. Fizer has already joined the Tour.
