The weathermay be turning gloomy across Florida this week as Tropical Storm Isaias develops in the Gulf, but there’s a bit of brighter news at the pump: gas prices are gradually falling (at least this week).
Florida’s average gas price is now $4.1875 per gallon, down from $4.2530 last week. The Jacksonville area is following the same trend, with prices dropping to an average of $4.1841 per gallon this week, compared with $4.2960 last week, according to AAA fuel prices.
Diesel prices have also declined, falling from an average of $5.9795 per gallon last week to $5.9063 this week, a difference of about 7 cents per gallon.
