Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Josh Cameron hauled in his second career touchdown in the second quarter against the New England Patriots on Sept. 27.
It comes two weeks after Cameron scored in his first-ever game against the Cleveland Browns.
Through two games and the first half against the Patriots, Cameron has three receptions for 32 yards and two touchdowns.

Cameron, 23, graduated from Cedar Park High School in Texas and attended Baylor.
Cameron made the team as a walk-on in 2021. He played in three games then redshirted. As a redshirt freshman in 2022, he started four of 13 games with 28 receptions for 386 yards. He followed that with seven starts in 12 games in 2023, recording 21 receptions for 224
yards. As a redshirt junior in 2024, Cameron started all 13 games and led the team with 52 receptions for 754 yards and 10 touchdowns. During his final year he had career bests with 69 receptions for 872 yards. He tallied nine touchdowns.
After five seasons at Baylor, Cameron departed with 170 receptions for 2,236 yards and 19 touchdowns.
When was Josh Cameron drafted?
Cameron was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the sixth round with the 191st overall pick of the 2026 NFL draft.
Coming into camp, he was looking at a wide receiver room that included Parker Washington, Brian Thomas Jr., Jakobi Meyers and Travis Hunter, as well as CJ Williams, who was drafted 12 spots behind Cameron at 203.
It seemed as though one spot might be available at receiver, but with the need for Travis Hunter on defense, it opened up two spots. Both Cameron and Williams impressed in the preseason and were selected for the 53-man roster.
How did Josh Cameron score?
Cameron's first touchdown on Sept. 13 came on a laser of a pass from Trevor Lawrence to Cameron in the middle of the end zone against the Browns for a four-yard score. It put the Jaguars ahead 14-0 as they went on to win 34-10.
His second touchdown, a 12-yarder against the Patriots, came on a Lawrence pass down the middle that he nabbed about eight yards off the line and ran in the final four for the score.
It helped the Jaguars seize a 7-0 lead in the second quarter.
