Hilltown police are seeking the public’s help with an investigation involving a reported shooting in the township on Saturday night.
The incident happened shortly after 10 p.m. Oct. 3 when officers responded to the area of Hillcrest Drive near Glenwood Drive for a report of an argument followed by multiple gunshots, according to a Crimewatch Post.
But when police arrived they found several shell casings on Hillcrest Drive, but no people or vehicles in the area, according to the post.
Police were told that at least one vehicle had fled the area and local hospitals were advised in the event a shooting victim was brought in for treatment.
The department is seeking information on the incident and residents in the area are asked to check home security
video to notify police if any part of the incident was recorded.
