With fewer than 100 days remaining until the 2026 midterm elections, Pennsylvania residents who are not registered to vote still have time to sign up before the state's voter-registration deadline.

When is Pennsylvania's voter registration deadline?
Pennsylvania residents have until Oct. 19, 2026, to register to vote for the Nov. 3 general election, according to Vote PA.
Residents who miss the voter registration deadline generally will not be eligible to vote in the Nov. 3 general election unless they are already registered.
How do you register to vote in Pennsylvania?
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania notes residents can register to vote through several methods.
Pennsylvania residents can register to vote through the state's online voter registration system using a computer, tablet or mobile device. Once an application is submitted, it will be reviewed by the voter's county elections office. Upon approval, voters will receive their voter registration card by mail.
Residents who prefer a paper application can download, print and complete a voter registration form and submit it to their county elections office. Once the application is reviewed and approved, voters will receive their voter registration card by mail.
Pennsylvania residents also may register to vote in person at their county elections office or through certain state government agencies, including PennDOT. According to the Commonwealth, voters who register in person will receive their voter registration card by mail once their application has been reviewed and processed.
Am I eligible to vote in Pennsylvania?
According to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, residents may register to vote if they are U.S. citizens for at least one month before the election, have lived in Pennsylvania and their election district for at least 30 days before the election and will be at least 18 years old on or before Election Day.
Residents who recently moved can register or update their voter registration information through Pennsylvania's voter registration system.
