A Falls man is facing felony charges for allegedly repeatedly showing pornographic material to an underage girl.
Bensalem police allege that Nicholas Boeggeman, 34, began showing the girl sexually explicit material on his phone in 2022 or 2023, when the girl was 10, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Boeggeman allegedly showed the girl the images when they were alone. The girl’s mother also allegedly caught him masturbating on the girl’s bed while watching pornography.
Police alleged that the girl, now 14, kept text messages between herself and Boeggeman from earlier this year where she accused him of showing her pornography. He appeared to acknowledge
this and apologized, the affidavit said.
The defendant allegedly said he was using suboxone at the time and doesn’t remember a lot of what he did then, the affidavit said. Suboxone is used to treat opioid addiction.
Boeggeman was arraigned before District Judge Michael Gallagher on Sept. 2 on three felony charges of disseminating sexual material to a minor and related misdemeanors. He is free after posting bail in the case.
His attorney, Jan Grossman, did not immediately return a Sept. 4 email requesting comment.
