With a date with a wrecking ball approaching, the Neshaminy Mall is already a shell of its former self.
For years stores have been closing and storefronts have gone empty. Even Santa Claus stopped visiting as the mallchanged owners and plans for redevelopment at the Route 1 property in Bensalem began to take shape. Now, the remaining businesses are expected to vacate the mall in the coming months as demolition could take place as early as December.
Bensalem officials said they could get a look at redevelopment plans as soon as this month.
