A Philadelphia teenager is facing charges as an adult for allegedly pistol-whipping another teen and stealing the sneakers off his feet in Bristol Township.
Bristol Township police allege the incident happened Oct. 2 in the 1300 block of Miller Street in Croydon when another teen alleged four people assaulted his friend and stole his New Balance sneakers, according to an affidavit.
The witness said he and the victim knew the suspects, the affidavit said.

The witness alleged two teens appeared to have weapons. One suspect allegedly brandished a BB gun, but the 16-year-old suspect had a firearm and struck his friend on the back of the head, then removed his sneakers, the affidavit said. This news organization is not identifying the suspect because
he is a juvenile.
The court document did not state if the teen suffered injuries requiring medical intervention.
Bristol Township police found and detained the 16-year-old in the area of Woodlawn and Magnolia avenues. Police found the stolen sneakers in a black backpack the suspect had on him, the affidavit said.
Police also located a second black bag containing a Glock 43X firearm and a black BB gun in the area of Magnolia and Cedar avenues, the affidavit said.
The 16-year-old was arraigned before District Judge Joseph Falcone on felony robbery and aggravated assault charges and misdemeanor possession of an instrument of a crime.
He was transferred to the juvenile detention center in Doylestown in lieu of $100,000 bail. He had no legal representation listed as of Oct. 5, according to the public court docket.
