A blown transformer in the area of East Old Lincoln Highway resulted in some Langhorne businesses and residents in the surrounding area losing power.

confirmed that at least three traffic lights lost power because of the blown transformer. Public works staff have installed generators, and as of 1 p.m. the traffic lights were to be operational again.

Gracie said that part of the area impacted by the power outage was Town Center Drive, located near the Oxford Valley Mall.

According to Michael Normand, the mall's area director of marketing and business development, the mall was briefly without power, but it was restored within 30 minutes of the initial

outage.

PECO staff is aware of the blown transformer and is working to resolve the problem, but no timeline was publicly released regarding when power would be fully restored to the area.
