Well, so much for getting this right.
Let me explain.
These are our fourth big-school rankings for Bucks County area teams in Class 4A, 5A and 6A and each new ranking, including this one, has a new team at No. 1.
We've gone from La Salle atop the list in our preseason poll to Central Bucks West to North Penn, and now we go to Pennridge at No. 1.
We'll see if the Rams held onto the top spot when we have our next big-school rankings in two weeks.
For right now, though, here we go with the top five and some other teams to watch also listed:

1. Pennridge (6-0)
The Rams, who have allowed only five touchdowns and 41 points all season, take over the top spot after handing CB West its only loss two weeks ago thanks to a touchdown in the closing seconds.
This week, Pennridge
travels to North Penn to face the last team that beat them, which came in the PIAA District One Class 6A title game in November by a 21-14 score.
Last week, the Rams topped Pennsbury 28-6 as junior running back Trevor Picciotti led the way with 132 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
2. Central Bucks West (5-1)
The Bucks showed some moxie a week after losing to Pennridge by holding off North Penn 28-26 in a classic in Week 5.
An 0-2 start in Suburban One League National Conference play would have been difficult to dig out of and West made sure that didn't happen.
Last week, senior running back Braylen Cape led the way for the Bucks with 201 rushing yards and two touchdowns in a 44-0 blanking of Abington.
3. North Penn (4-2)
The Knights, who were in the top spot in our rankings two weeks ago, bounced back from the tight loss to West by blanking Neshaminy 28-0 last week.
In that win, North Penn's defense only allowed Neshaminy 100 yards of offense while senior quarterback London Evans threw for one touchdown and ran for another.
Worth noting: the Knights' two losses have come against Central York (District Three) and West, two teams that are receiving votes in every statewide Class 6A poll.
4. La Salle (3-3)
The Explorers, the defending PIAA Class 6A champions and our preseason No. 1 team, seem to have regained their footing after a 1-3 start to the season.
They defeated a good Salesianum (Del.) team 28-10 two weeks ago and blanked Father Judge 42-0 in their Philadelphia Catholic League Red Division opener last week. Senior defensive back Josh Simmons led the way against the Crusaders with a fumble return for a touchdown.
This week, the Explorers take on archrival Saint Joe's Prep at Lafayette College on Saturday at noon. The game was originally scheduled to be played at CB South, but a bigger venue was needed due to the expected large crowd.
And that crowd will see the teams that have won the last four PIAA 6A titles, La Salle last year and the Hawks in 2024, 2023 and 2022. The Explorers beat Prep in both the regular season and in the PCL Red Division title game last season.
Worth noting is that both La Salle and Prep have played Malvern Prep this season. The Explorers lost 21-0 to the Friars while the Hawks beat Malvern Prep 12-7.
5. Upper Moreland (5-1)
The Golden Bears notched their first shutout of the season with an impressive 14-0 win over a solid Wissahickon side last week in the SOL American Conference opener for both sides.
Senior Kyle Moore paced the offense with a pair of rushing touchdowns, and a 2-point conversion run that accounted for all of the scoring.
Currently, the Golden Bears hold the No. 5 spot in the PIAA District One Class 5A "power point" rankings. The top 16 teams in Class 5A, and also in Class 6A, qualify for the upcoming district tournament.
Up next for Upper Moreland is a game Friday night (7 p.m.) at much-improved Harry S. Truman.
