New buildings under construction at the Barn Plaza in Doylestown Township are starting to take shape.
As of early October, redevelopment of the shopping center’s former theater site off Easton Road showed visible signs of progress as the structural steel framework is put into place.
Owned by leasing and development company Brixmor Property Group, the 238,793-square foot Barn Plaza shopping center is curretnly home to several retailers including Whole Foods, Kohl’s, Barnes and Noble, honeygrow, Piccolo Trattoria, Chipotle, First Watch, The Juice Pod, Gerhard's Appliances, Pure Barre and AFC Urgent Care.
“Construction at Barn Plaza continues to make
significant progress,” said Maria Pace, a spokesperson for Brixmor.
“Site work is well underway, and vertical construction has begun with structural steel installation in progress. The project also includes extensive improvements along Route 611, including the addition of a new travel lane and other roadway enhancements. Current stabilization is anticipated in the third quarter of 2027.”
What new stores and restaurants are coming to the Barn Plaza in Doylestown
According to a site plan on the Brixmor website, all but one of the 12 planned spaces have been leased out. Here are the listed tenants the company has announced so far:
- Starbucks
- LaserAway
- Naya
- Just Salad
- Sephora
- Burton’s Grill & Bar
- Shake Shack
Brixmor declined to share which tenants will be going into the other four lease spaces. And while it’s been reported that Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn are joining the shopping center, neither company has responded to requests for confirmation.
What is Naya?
Naya is a fast-casual restaurant featuring a Middle Eastern menu that includes create-your-own bowls, rolls and salads with ingredients such as chicken shawarma, kafta lamb kebab, falafel, hummus, baba ghannouj, lebanese pickles, lemon tahini and more. They also serve various mezzes and dips and other small bites and desserts.
What is Burton’s Grill & Bar?
Burton’s Grill & Bar is an upscale casual restaurant that offers “a new spin on the classic American Bar & Grill” with a scratch kitchen. Its all-day menu is known for being allergy-friendly and includes starters, salads, bowls, burgers, sandwiches, fresh seafood, prime steaks, pasta and desserts, alongside a variety of cocktails, beers, wines and spirits.
What is Just Salads?
Just Salads is a fast-casual restaurant with a focus on serving “healthy, affordable, climate-conscious meals.” Its menu includes salads, wraps, warm bowls, smoothies and market plates made using homemade and fresh-prepped ingredients.
