Police and FBI are returning to 417 West Chew Ave. this week to continue an extensive search of the Horsch home, the center of an investigation linked to numerous missing women.
The surrounding intersections were taped off Monday afternoon as crime scene investigators continued to work on the corner twin belonging to 44-year-old Eugene Horsch and his late father, notorious pornographer Raymond 'R.C.' Horsch.
Police have already recovered hundreds of thousands of pieces of digital material from the home, which they said are being used to inform where to look for physical evidence.
The pair previously resided for 20 years in Bucks County until theirChalfont home went into foreclosure in 2009. In a 2010 cleanout of that residence, authorities found
a marijuana grow table, garbage bags of marijuana, mannequins, costumes, handcuffs, what appeared to be movie prop weapons, gynecological instruments and torture devices.
Police at the Olney scene explained that this continuing investigation would be occurring in phases.
Phase one, taking place Monday and Tuesday, focused on cleaning out the home and continuing to take photographs.
The investigation is expected to pick up again Monday, Oct. 5, and last about two weeks as officials continue to move through and catalog the scene.
Area residents were informed of the events at a recent community hearing in the Olney neighborhood. The home has been the center of police and media attention for months.
