The Fall 2026 field hockey season is underway and the Bucks County area has dozens of talented players who are at the top of their games. These midfielders stand out from the crowd, whether they're scoring,
defending or everything in between.

Chloe Brison, Neshaminy, junior
A hard worker with an unmatched work ethic, Brison leads by example, displaying a positive attitude while encouraging her teammates. A first-team All-SOL Patriot selection, Brison played for the USA Field Hockey’s 2026 Junior Nexus Championship U-18 Girls team this summer. Last season, she scored the game-winning goal late in the fourth period to give Neshaminy a 2-1 victory over CR South.
Jenna Butler, CB South, sophomore
After an impressive freshman season, Butler was the lone freshman to receive first-team All-SOL Colonial honors and also earned a second-team All-State nod. She was one of 40 players to make the 2026 USWNT World Youth Hockey U16 team, where she played in England this spring and the World Youth Hockey Festival in the Netherlands in August. A scoring threat as well as a standout defender, Butler will command the midfield for the Titans, who are looking to make a splash in the competitive SOL Colonial.
Ryan Burdette, Pennsbury, senior
A Division 1 recruit committed to Rider University, Burdette is a four-year starter and three-time All-SOL Patriot selection, picking up first-team honors last year. A multi-sport athlete who also plays lacrosse for the Falcons, Burdette is quick, athletic and agile with an ability to execute from anywhere on the field. A team captain, Burdette strives to be a positive influence on her teammates, who have benefitted from her leadership, consistent play and never-give-up mindset.
Devon Crowley, North Penn, senior
A team captain who plays with consistency and determination, Crowley posted three goals and two assists last year. Most of what she does, though, won’t be found on the stat sheet. A crucial part of both the offense and defense, Crowley has the endurance and field vision to cover ground in the midfield and is especially strong in transition.
Paige Dando, Bensalem, junior
While she didn’t pick up a field hockey stick until middle school, Dando is a two-year varsity starter with unlimited potential. Playing center-mid last year, Dando was proficient in attacking inside the 25-yard line. She dished out five assists with more offensive contributions expected this season.
Sunday ‘Sunny’ Draper, Quakertown, senior
A top recruit not just in the Phillyburbs, but in the nation, Draper committed to Division 1 Boston College before the start of her junior season. Unfortunately, Draper didn’t take the field for the Panthers last season due to an ACL injury, but she is fully recovered for her senior year. A true ‘do it all’ player, Draper scored a team-best 30 goals as a sophomore, but she is just as effective on defense and in transition. She is a two-time USA Women’s Outdoor National Team U18 selection and was also named to the USA Women’s Indoor National U17 Team. Draper is ranked as Top 10 Player in the Class of 2027 by MAX Field Hockey.
Genevieve Gajan, Germantown Academy, senior
A first-team All-State selection, Gajan led the Patriots with eight assists, and scored eight goals. The College of William & Mary recruit is a bonafide playmaker who excels in transition and moves seamlessly between offense and defense.
Courtney Gallagher, Gwynedd Mercy, senior
A four-year varsity starter, Gallagher is a team captain and second-team All-State selection. A defensive specialist, she has led the team in defensive saves and is the lead defender on penalty corners. Quick and athletic, she anchors the transition between offense and defense.
Cheyenne Greene, Faith Christian, senior
Ranked as a MAX Field Hockey Top 50 Player to Watch from the Class of 2027, the Liberty University recruit is a potent scorer, whether she’s dishing an assist or taking the ball to the net herself. She tallied 26 goals and 32 assists as a sophomore. With the graduation of leading scorer Gracie Longacre, Greene will have even more opportunities this year.
Mackenzie Harmon, Hatboro-Horsham, senior
A strong leader whose play speaks for itself, Harmon was the Hatters’ MVP last year. A player who thrives under pressure and never loses composure, Harmon, who recently committed to Hartford University, is a team captain this year. With several multiple-goal games in the past two seasons, she should be a top scorer for the Hatters.
Norah Haber, Hatboro-Horsham, senior
A Desales University commit, Haber is a high-effort, high-energy player who will serve as a team captain this year. Flexible and always putting the team first, Haber is capable of playing anywhere on the field and can adapt and adjust her game to better the team.
Kai Gordon, George School, junior
Competitive and driven, Gordon is a contributor in every aspect of the game. Gordon will go to battle for every ball, never giving up on a play, while maintaining a strong defensive mindset.
Madison Hagarty, Lansdale Catholic, senior
An excelled all-around player who contributes in every aspect of the game, Hagarty possesses strong stick work and is a standout defender. She has the skills to play anywhere on the field.
Bridget Hess, Upper Moreland, junior
A three-year starter, Hess was a first-team All-SOL Freedom selection last year. The defensive center midfielder is tenacious on defense, giving the Golden Bears a reliable leader who is strong and consistent in the circle. Hess also has stellar field vision and precise timing on free hits.
Ashley Kim, Council Rock North, junior
Two years ago, Kim was the lone freshman to make the varsity team, and an impressive campaign secured her a full-time starting role last season, which resulted in second-team All-SOL Patriot honors. A dedicated student of the game, Kim is skilled with the stick and can make high-octane passes, while always working to refine her game.
Maddie Kocher, Faith Christian, senior
The Rider University commit excels at defense and has earned the team’s Defensive Player of the Year award. She can play any position, giving the Lions a versatile option everywhere on the field. She scored a goal in the Lions’ district championship game win last year and tends to come up big in the postseason. A smart player and quick thinker, Kocher is decisive and determined while tracking opponents on defense.
Cassidy Landis, Quakertown, senior
The Kutztown commit offers stellar leadership to a Panthers’ team with high expectations. She has been one of the team’s leaders in goals and assists over the past two seasons, and her careful and consistent yet innovative play serves as a model for her teammates.
Belyse Landis, Dock Mennonite, junior
In just two seasons, Landis has racked up 21 goals and 22 assists for the Pioneers. She earned second-team All-State honors and is a member and captain of the Puerto Rican Junior National field hockey team. A selfless player, Landis looks to set her teammates up for scoring opportunities first. Last season, she had much success when keeping the ball for herself, netting 19 goals. A skilled stick handler, Landis can make the toughest pass look easy. She scored four goals in the Pioneers’ district semifinal win. She was also named to the MAX Field Hockey Class of 2028 Top 150 Players list.
Veronica Lennon, Bensalem, senior
The Owls’ team leader and field general, Lennon is involved in nearly everything that happens on the field. A first-team All-SOL Patriot selection, Lennon has shown considerable improvement each year, and coach Michelle Kubik believes this year will be her best yet. A standout on both offense and defense, Lennon led the Owls with seven assists and was fifth in points. A key contributor to Bensalem’s much-improved defense, she has been a key to lowering the team’s goal differential and goals scored against for the past three seasons.
Madeline Lewis, Lansdale Catholic, senior
The four-year varsity starter is a two-time second-team All-Catholic selection who has committed to Susquehanna University. Lewis has great field vision and impeccable stick work. Despite her success, Lewis continues to put in the work to improve and is a fine role model for her younger teammates.
Paige Longacre, Quakertown, senior
A four-year starter, Longacre is a reliable scoring threat who has contributed double-digit goals each season, including 16 as a freshman. She also excels at passing and setting up her teammates for scoring plays, and is among the team leaders in assists each year. The Wagner College recruit excels on the attack and driving down the baseline.
Sarah Lubeczewski, Council Rock South, junior
The Golden Hawks’ leader in the midfield, Lubeczewski is a ‘do it all’ player who can score, pass the ball, defend and direct her teammates. The speedy Lubeczewski, who plays both midfielder and forward, excels at getting past defenders.
Emerson McFeely, CB East, senior
A team leader who guides by example as well as verbally, McFeely is a well-rounded athlete who possesses a high field hockey IQ, excellent stick-handling skills and stamina. McFeeley’s contributions can be felt on both sides of the field as well as the sidelines. Her importance to the team can’t be measured by stats but she is appreciated by her teammates and coaches, earning her the Patriots’ Unsung Hero Award last season.
Ella Marchesi, CB South, senior
A Moravian University recruit, Marchesi is an intelligent player with strong stick-handling skills. Determined and driven, Marchesi does not give up on a play and will help anchor the midfield for the Titans.
Gianna Moody, Archbishop Wood, senior
A team captain known for her high spirits and energetic, high-impact play, Moody will be a key leader on a Vikings team that graduated five starters. She was especially proficient against PCL opponents last year, scoring a game-tying goal against Bonner-Prendergast to force OT, and the go-ahead goal in the PCL quarterfinals.
Gabi Solis, New Hope-Solebury, junior
A three-year starter and two-time first-team All-SOL Freedom selection, Solis excelled in the postseason. She had two goals and one assist in the Lions’ first-round PIAA 2A win over Lansdale Catholic and scored the team’s lone goal in a quarterfinal loss to Greenwood. She also scored in the Lions’ district semifinal win over Dock Mennonite.
Deegan Smith, Pennridge, junior
A top player for the Rams since her freshman season, Smith earned second-team All-State honors last year and was selected to USA Field Hockey’s 2026 AAU Junior Olympics team. She led the Rams in scoring last year with 10 goals and two assists, including the game-winner in a 1-0 victory over CR South, helping Pennridge secure a playoff spot for the first time in six years. Smith is decisive and committed when making plays and can get past even the toughest defenders.
Lucy Smith, CB West, junior
As a sophomore, Smith scored a couple of the Bucks’ biggest goals in recent years. She netted the game-winner in a 4-3 PIAA 3A quarterfinal victory against Penn Manor, and in the semifinals, she scored twice, including the game-winner, against Emmaus. A smart player with fine field vision, she also possesses strong technical skills.
Olivia Torres, Upper Moreland, junior
Torres’ hard work and commitment to improvement paid off as she earned first-team All-SOL Freedom honors as a sophomore. She led the team in assists and was their top striker on corners. Dynamic and explosive on offense, Torres possesses top-notch stickwork and the speed and power to accelerate with the ball.
Brooke Wagner, Souderton, senior
A four-year varsity player and Millersville University recruit, Wagner is a strong defender as well as a contributor on offense. The speedy Wagner, who previously won a track district title with Souderton’s relay team, covers plenty of ground in the midfield and is proficient everywhere on the field. She scored Souderton’s lone goal in a district quarterfinal loss to Methacton.
Autumn Wagner, Souderton, senior
The Millersville University recruit gives the Indians a constant and consistent scoring presence. She tallied nine goals and six assists last year, and was especially potent in SOL National conference play, scoring two goals in a win over CB East and one in a 2-1 win against North Penn. Wagner possesses speed and is the team’s top breakaway scoring threat.
Danielle Wilson, New Hope-Solebury, junior
Wilson’s impressive sophomore season earned her first-team All-SOL Freedom honors and an All-State honorable mention. A talented and versatile athlete, Wilson is also a top player for the Lions’ softball and basketball teams. She is a strong defender while also contributing heavily on offense. She scored the game-winning goal in an impressive 2-1 victory against Neshaminy, scored twice in a win over Plumstead Christian, and netted both goals in a 2-0 win over Springfield.
