When police earlier this month confronted a Bensalem man accused of repeatedly raping a 10-year-old girl, he allegedly admitted it.
Raul Solis Soriano, 46, told police that the girl was "lucky" he only
assaulted her three times, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Bensalem police opened an investigation earlier this month after the victim, now 19, reported Solis Soriano raped her three times in 2017.
The woman alleged the sexual abuse occured when she was in the care of Solis Soriano when her parent was at work.
When police interviewed Solis Soriano he described in detail the three times he raped the girl, the affidavit said. He also allegedly told police that he was sexually abused for years as a child.
Solis Soriano was arraigned Sept. 16 before District Judge David Chichilitti on 11 felonies including multiple counts of rape of a child and aggravated indecent, who denied him bail citing the seriousness of the charges.
He is incarcerated in Bucks County Correctional Center and had no legal representation as of Sept. 16, according to the docket.
