Field hockey season is off and running in Bucks County. We have plenty of talent taking the field, with some of the highest scoring players in the area. Who are the names you need to know for fall 2026? Here are 22 of the top forwards in the Bucks County area.

Cara Albano, North Penn, senior
Albano is the Knights’ top returning scorer, tallying 11 goals and five assists last year. She recorded two goals and one assist in a 3-2 win over SOL Colonial Division rival CB East, a team the Knights later defeated in the playoffs. The team captain leads the forward line with her quick and decisive moves, and her impressive
stickwork. Her strong stick-handling skills and field vision allow her to be a creative playmaker.
Kylie Blank, Bensalem, junior
After an impressive freshman debut, Blank earned a full-time starting role as a sophomore where she led the Owls in scoring with nine goals and three assists. This season, coach Michelle Kubik expects even bigger things from the second-team All-SOL Patriot recipient.
Brynn Bonargo, CB East, senior
Committed to Division 1 Wagner College, Bonargo is a powerhouse at forward who dominates in the offensive circle. An intelligent player who is a student of the game, Bonargo’s blend of smarts with physicality make her a skilled and tactical offensive threat. She had her best games against SOL Colonial opponents last season, scoring in every game played in the highly competitive division. Despite missing some time due to injury, Bonargo finished with nine goals, including three game-winners, and three assists.
Mia Brooks, Neshaminy, senior
A four-year starter, Brooks’ had a remarkable junior season and was named the SOL Patriot League Player of the Year and earned an All-State honorable mention. The West Chester University commit’s determination and unrelenting perseverance gave Neshaminy a win in the first round of the district playoffs last year. Brooks scored twice in regulation and dished out the game-winning assist in OT in a 3-2 victory over Haverford. During the regular season, she had two goals and one assist in a 3-2 win over Wissahickon, and four goals and two assists in a 6-0 win against Bensalem. She scored both goals against Pennsbury for a 2-1 win and also had the game-winner in a 1-0 victory over CR North.
Kendall DeLuca, Gwynedd Mercy, senior
DeLuca is not only one of the top talents in the region, but in the nation. Next fall, she’ll be playing for Northwestern University, which won 2024 and 2025 NCAA Division 1 field hockey championships. Named to MAX Field Hockey’s Top 50 Players in the Class 0f 2027 list, DeLuca earned numerous accolades last season, including first-team All-State, NFHCA High School PA All-Region Team and MAX Field Hockey All-Region first-team. The Monarchs’ leading scorer, DeLuca scored a remarkable 45 goals last year, along with 12 assists. She scored three goals in the Monarchs’ 4-1 win in the District One Class 2A fifth-place game that secured a PIAA playoff berth. She was also named to the USA Field Hockey 2026 Junior Nexus Championship U-21 team.
Claire Demmer, CB West, junior
Ranked as a MAX Field Hockey Top 100 Player to Watch from the Class of 2028, Demmer scored 18 goals and dished out 10 assists last season for PIAA 3A state finalist Bucks. Tough on the attack, Demmer has exceptional stick-handling skills and can hit a variety of shots. Demmer committed to Division 1 Boston College prior to her junior year and played for the USA Field Hockey U-18 Girls Junior Nexus team. As the team’s second leading scorer the past two years, she will take on even more responsibility with the graduation of Aida Ierubino (University of Maryland), who scored 51 goals last year.
Madelyn DeFortuna, William Tennent, senior
A four-year varsity player, DeFortuna was one of the Panthers’ top scorers last year, and is expected to lead the team in offense this season. She is strong and aggressive on the attack while putting in the time and effort to continue developing her skills.
Scarlett Derstine, Dock Mennonite, junior
The Pioneers’ leading goal-scorer since her freshman year, Derstine delivered 30 goals, along with 17 assists, over the past two years. She scored three times in the Pioneers’ district semifinal win and earned an All-State honorable mention.
Cece Durkin, Germantown Academy, senior
The Division 1 Bucknell University commit has led the Patriots in goals the past two years. After netting 11 goals and six assists as a sophomore, Durkin recorded 15 goals and three assists last year, earning an All-State honorable mention. A two-year team captain, Durkin is a strong leader on and off the field and gives the Patriots a consistent and reliable scoring threat, especially against tough Inter-Ac opponents.
Sienna Edgerton, Plumstead Christian, senior
Edgerton will lead the Panthers’ forward line with her excellent stick-handling skills and fast and aggressive play.
Peyton Hurlock, Plumstead Christian, sophomore
Hurlock opened eyes during her impressive softball campaign as a freshman, and the versatile athlete is expected to be a main contributor on the field hockey field as well. An explosive player on the attack, Hurlock’s speed and aggression lead to plenty of scoring opportunities for the Panthers. She has strong stick-handling skills and is adept from anywhere on the field.
Amy Hazell, CB South, senior
A skilled offensive threat, Hazell is quick and determined when sensing scoring opportunities. She scored the game-winning goal in the Titans’ first district playoff game in four seasons. Strong and decisive when driving the ball, Hazell also looks for chances to involve her teammates.
Abby Iacona, Pennsbury, senior
A skilled player who uses both speed and smarts to make big plays, Iacona excels at driving the ball downfield and connecting with a teammate in position to score. The Falcons’ leader in assists the past couple seasons, she can also hit the back of the net herself. She had two game-winning goals last year, one in the final minute against CB East, and against Abington. A four-year starter who also plays lacrosse, Iacona has committed to play Division 1 field hockey at American University.
Cissy Lewis, North Penn, sophomore
As a freshman, Lewis made an immediate impact on the veteran team, scoring seven goals, along with one assist. With the graduation of several key players, coach Shannon McCracken is eager to see Lewis take on an even bigger role this year. Lewis’ possesses excellent ball control and a strong swing and is a creative and dynamic player with a high IQ for the game.
Colbie Landherr, Pennridge, senior
A star on the lacrosse field for Pennridge, and a Kean University lacrosse recruit, Landherr’s talents have transferred to the field hockey team where she helps ignite the offense with her dynamic passing, stick-handling skills and strong field awareness. She scored five goals last season and will have the opportunity for more this season with the graduation of several starters.
Ruby Mead, George School, senior
The speedy forward is excellent on the attack and will lead the forward line for the Cougars.
Riley Meehan, Gwynedd Mercy, junior
An impressive sophomore season earned Meehan an All-State honorable mention and placement on the Max Field Hockey Class of 2028 Top 150 Watchlist. A skilled and versatile player, Meehan can play anywhere on the field and contributes in every aspect of the game.
Zola Morelli, CB West, senior
Morelli stepped up her game big time in the postseason and played a huge role in the Bucks’ run to the PIAA Class 3A championship game, as she had an assist on the game-winning goal in the Bucks’ 3-2 PIAA semifinal win. In the district playoffs, she scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 semifinal victory; she netted the golden goal in overtime against the defending state champion, Conestoga, in the quarterfinals; in the second round, she scored twice in a win over Neshaminy. Making it more impressive is that field hockey isn’t even her main sport − she is committed to play Division 1 lacrosse at High Point University.
Louisa Rambo, Germantown Academy, sophomore
Rambo started every game as a freshman, and was selected to play in the USA Field Hockey 2026 U16 AAU Junior Olympic Games. Rambo came through with clutch goals in several games last year and will continue to grow her role in the offense this season.
Mia Schink, Council Rock South, senior
A star on the lacrosse field for CR South, Schink, who scored her 100th career goal last spring, brings her strong attack and offensive-minded play to the field hockey turf as well.
Olivia Shafer, Conwell-Egan, sophomore
An immediate contributor as a freshman, Shafer led the team in goals and earned second-team All-Catholic honors. The center forward/midfielder will continue to be an impact player for the Eagles on offense, after showing she can score when it matters. Shafer scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Bensalem, and both goals in a 2-2 draw with Germantown Friends.
Parker Shore, Villa Joseph Marie, junior
When it comes to scoring, Shore is a sure thing. After scoring 26 goals between JV and varsity as a freshman, Shore tallied 24 goals and 16 assists last year as a full-time varsity starter. This season, she is also a captain and will lead a young team with just six returning varsity players. Shore has excellent field vision and the ability to see downfield to execute plays. While she can score herself, Shore is equally adept at getting the ball to her teammates, including on difficult passes from inside the circle.
