Equipment outages have prompted the FAA to issue a ground stop at Philadelphia International Airport Monday, Sept. 21.
Both arriving and departing flights are affected.
The ground stop is expected to remain in effect until at least 12:45 p.m. Monday.
The FAA says the issue stems from radio problems at the Philadelphia TRACON facility, which directs aircraft in and out of both Philadelphia International Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey.
A separate ground stop has also been issued for Newark as a result of the outage.
The disruption began around 10:30 a.m., and the number of delays at Philadelphia International Airport has impacted more than 200 flights.
