Historically, Nueces County has a low voter turnout — and midterms tend to draw even less interest in the ballot.
This year may buck the trend, even if slightly, according to political experts, in part because of the Corpus Christi City Council and the nine seats up for election after a controversial term.
Below are totals for mail-in-ballots and in-person early voter turnout for the previous election cycle — the 2024 presidential election — as well as the 2022 midterm election, compared with voter turnout for the 2026 midterm.
The graphs will be updated daily with the newest tallies.
Early voting is Oct. 19 to Oct. 30. Election Day is Nov. 3.
