Not all Nueces County voters will see the same ballot come early voting and Election Day.
That’s because some races will be exclusive to where you live in the county — the precinct, city council and school district.
Sample ballots are posted now to the Nueces County website, nuecesco.com, with links to ballots showing the specific items voters can decide at the federal, state and local levels, based on the precinct in which the voter lives.
Sample ballots can be found on the Nueces County clerk’s elections site under the “sample ballots” hyperlink.
In all, there are 130 voting precincts, according to the elections site. The precincts can be found at votetexas.gov,
it states.
Although some of the items on ballots will be determined by address, Nueces County uses a system where voters may cast their ballots at any polling site within the county, not one specific to their precinct, during early voting and Election Day.
Early voting is Oct. 19 to Oct. 30.
Election Day is Nov. 3.
