Two, in fact, in Corpus Christi.

People walk out of the Spirit Halloween store at 5625 S. Padre Island Drive on Sept. 25, 2026. It is one of two in Corpus Christi. The other location is at 6006 Ayers St.

The popular Spirit Halloween store is a mammoth franchise boasting everything from creative costumes and hair-raising animatronics to spooky fog machines and eerie lights.

The stores are open for business at 6006 Ayers St. and 5626 S. Padre Island Drive. The latter is next to Spec’s Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods in the shopping center.

Described on the company’s website as a “pop-up phenomenon,” they are two of more than 1,500 stores located in all 50 states.

Each is open from Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
