The city of Corpus Christi plans to close a portion of Up River Road for roughly two months.
The closure is planned at Poth Lane and expected to affect northbound traffic, according to a city-issued news release.
Detours will be available, it states.
The purpose of the closure, according to the news release, is to install a water line as part of efforts “to improve local infrastructure and enhance water service reliability.”
It will be in effect starting Sept. 8 until Nov. 3, it shows.
